Muzard & Fils Corton Charlemagne 2009


Corton-Charlemagne is an Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée (AOC) and Grand Cru vineyard for white wine in Côte de Beaune subregion of Burgundy. It is located in the communes of Aloxe-Corton, Pernand-Vergelesses and Ladoix-Serrigny; and Chardonnay is the only grape variety allowed.

The vines are located on the higher ground of a hilltop that stretches between the Burgundian villages of Ladoix-Serrigny and Pernand-Vergeless. The red wine appellation of Corton covers the lower part of the hill, and the areas for Corton and Corton-Charlemagne are partially overlapping. And there is a third Grand Cru appellation of the Corton hill, Charlemagne, for white wine.

Type: Complex and mastered.
Food pairing: Fish, white meat, strong cheese.
Nose: Powerful, roasted almonds.
Palate: Rich, dense texture, wooden notes.
Ideal serving temperature: 12-15 degrees Celsius.

Perle D’arche Sauternes 2005


Chateau d’Arche is a sweet white wine ranked as Second Growth in the original Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855. The winery is located in the commune of Sauternes.

The vineyards has a grape variety distribution of 90% Semilion, 10% Sauvignon blanc.

Type: Elegant and sophisticated.
Food pairing: Yellow fruits based desserts, almonds and nuts; blue cheeses, rich oriental cuisine.
Nose: Rich in flavor, dominant notes of apricot, orange, pineapple and melon, with a hint of spice and caramel.
Palate: Dense and complex on the palate. The finish is long and distinguished.
Ideal serving temperature: 10-13 degrees Celsius.

Domaine Chardonnay Montee de Tonnerre


“Montee de Tonnerre” in the village of Chablis has been established in 1987. Typical of the Chablis vineyards is the balance between tradition and modernism.

Type: Powerful & Graceful.
Food pairing: Oyster, crab, white meat, dry goat cheese.
Nose: Yellow light color, peach syrup, cinnamon and vanilla.
Palate: Rich, long and round.
Ideal serving temperature: 12-13 degrees Celsius.

Chateau St Martin Gr Reserve 2011


From the tenth to the seventeenth century the monks created and developed on the the land of Saint-Martin a wine-making priority and built an underground cellar. This cellar is remarkable by its basket handle shaped vault, its double openings and by the size of the stone, positioned much like a roman construction.

Type: Aromatic and elegant.
Food pairing: White meat, veal with tarragon, lamb, stewed vegetables, salmon.
Nose: Lively and explosive rose, clementine and blackberry notes.
Palate: Rose & strawberry, long and fresh in the mouth.
Ideal serving temperature: 9-11 degrees Celsius.

Muzard & Fils Corton Greves 2008


Corton-Greves appellation itself is the Cote de Beaune’s sole Grand Cru appellation for red wine, and is the largest Grand Cru of Burgundy. Harvesting is hand operated and for a production of 900 bottles, so needless to say that the production is limited.

Type: Keen and genuine.
Food pairing: Red meat, dishes in sauce, game birds or animals, matured cheese.
Nose: Notes of blackberries, softly roasted notes.
Palate: Velvet texture, excellent balance, subtle with fruit flavours.
Ideal serving temperature: 16-19 degrees Celsius.
